Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Reference to another cell-value not in same row?

Is there any way to make references to another cell-value (same data type) when using customized formulas - and not using VBA - if that cell is:
1)not in the same row, but in the same column, e.g. 5 rows above
2)not in the same row and not in the same column, e.g. 5 rows above and 2 columns to the left.

This is easy handled in Excel, but what about MS Project?

Best regards,

Bo
