Thank you for the reply. However i cannlot find the monthly field in my task usage section of th pivot table.
I have about 4 medium sized projects for this year. I already have activities defined and scheduled.I have also defined cost resources and assigned them to the activities taking place through the year.
Now i need to show to the management what are the likely cost to hit in which month. So i need a graphical representation or a spreadsheet that shows the activity name along the Y axis, the months on top (as the gant chart) and the cost showing throughout the chart with the total refelecting month wise.
I hope you can imagine what I need to express to the manangement.
well im facing the same problem you faced about 2 years ago. But if you've found the soultion, id be delightedif you shared it. I want the same oriientation.....X axis as months and the cost intervala along the Y axis.

Hi Moutaz and Abdullah,
Tips for your referance,
- Select level of usage as Months, then View, as you usually do
- Go to Task Usage sheet of the report
- At the end of PivotTable Field list, select Time Fields
- Then in the Drag Field, move Time Monthly from Column Labels to Row Labels
- Check your chart
Good luck,
