Currently we are using a corporate laptop, Im not sure of the RAM size, I guess 0.5 ghz would be about right. Do you know if Project 2007 allows more activities?

Mick,
a laptop is just as good; get 2Gb memory if you want to work on a LAAAAAARGE project file.

Alexandre,
you are correct, got my numbers the wrong way. Yes, I think its 512Mb using XP. Do you recommend that I should use a desktop, rather than a laptop?

Mick,
Do you mean 512 Mb? ghz is the processor speed.
On the windows screen, rightclick "My computer" and select "Properties", you will read the RAM size of your computer.
Which flavor of Windows are you using? Xp or Vista?
I would not switch to MSP2007 right now, as it needs more RAM than 2003 and will not accept bigger project sechedules.
Best choice is to have more RAM on your PC, a standard laptop can have up to 2Gb, and more.

Mick,
Microsoft Corp. says its possible to create projects with many 10000 tasks.
Maybe, but it takes so much live memory for your PC to run correctly!
How much RAM do you have on your PC?
