Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is it possible to view the WBS layout in MSP 2002 in a similar way to that in P3e.....i.e. to resemble a hierarchical Visio diagram.

WBS in MS-P is not similar to P3 of you want to organise based on WBS then you have to do some manual work. Create custom WBS based on WBS created by MSP itself. On that custon WBS you can sort/filter/group the activities as per you need. In other way of doing similar work you can follow Alaxandre’s suggestion. But rememeber it is not something like P3 WBS.

I am not sure this is what you are looking for.
In any case, in Filter select
Top level task or Summary task.
It is not yet like P3.
