Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I would like to see small thumbnail pictures of the people entering the forum. These could be attached to personal details or embedded in the first entry of the discussion.

Easy solution for Site Planners.
Down tools, get the boiler suit on, hard hat, safety specs on.
See? Everyone looks the same!

I think Forum is already OK without Mugshots being agreed with para 2 of your posting.

Mike,

It’s an interesting idea, but I don’t really think it will work. A jpeg thumbnail picture can take up between 5 and 15Kb of storage, say 8 just as a guess. Planning Planet has nearly 25,000 members, so you’re contemplating around 200Mb of additional storage, although this could be higher.

In addition there may be members who have cultural or religious reservations to showing an image of themselves. There is also the possibility of security implications for members working in certain industries.

Having said that, if Hollywood ever considered a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street, could there be a part for Charlie?

I suppose we could all get bit parts in the next Plan It of the Apes.

Hi Charleston

Work in Hollywood?

They have just done remake of King Kong - what other roles do you have in mind that would be suitable for a photogenic planner.

Best regards

MIke,

I do like your idea, but, but

sometimes if people will see my mugshut, then,...

I may given an offer to work in HOLLYWOOD or,

sometimes, it may creat discrimination, you know, the world out there are not really as open minded as the western or european educated.

so, let go for vote, after all, this is the only democracy in the universe, our planet, planning planet
