Responsible for the PMC supervision of the planning and scheduling of the C434 contract. This included various scopes of work covering the whole of the Ashford area up to Dollands Moor near Folkestone. The works comprised of the staged alteration of Railtrack and Eurotunnel Infrastructure with the installation of permanent way, signaling, telecommunications and train power supply equipment. The purpose of the work was to achieve the connection of the CTRL to existing railway infrastructure. Also responsible for the supervision of the contractor’s schedule of works. Attended meetings with the contractor and other subcontractors to ensure that the schedule was adhered to. Liaised with other contracts to ensure that any interfaces and handover of work sites were carried out with the minimum of problems. Produced management graphics and progress reports.
