(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I wrote a short paper about the steps on how to use Software Development Kit (SDK) in Schedule Preparation. It is very simple, full of screenshots and easy to understand especially made for those who are beginners in SDK. I hope it would help some of our PP members who just came in and for those who are newbie in SDK.

Hi Izam,

Thanks for your appreciation. After installing your SDK go to your control panel=>Administrative Tools=>Data Sources(ODBC)....Click ODBC then click the TAb System DSN=>Add...then look for Software Development Kit...click it then Finish.

Your SDK will be shown then Configure it....put ODBC Name Primavera SDK..then OK.

I found your attachment is very presentable and useful. Everything are in sequence and have a clear direction.

Reyes, are you mind If I want to ask you something? When I try to run my SDK, the will give me feedback that my ODBC have a problem or error report? Is it something related with installation? A long time ago Arnold Put had given me the guideline but my IT team can't fix it.

Hi Irfan,

Try this, Open your Excel program. Click Developer Tab/Menu then Click Macro Security. A dialog box will open and under the Macro Settings Check if your Enable all macros were chosen. If not tick the circle beside it. And underDeveloper Macro Settings….check the box for Trust access to the VBA project object model.

hope u ill b fine, u know that u send me excel files it contains P6.x ACTIVITY, P6.x DICTIONARY & P6.x WBS. files but I have little bit problem that is whenever I m going to open these files this type of messages r coming"cannot run the macro "P6.xDICTIONARY.xls!GetProjphases_click.'The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macrosmay be disabled."

So tell me ways that how to use files or tell me solutions.

I ill b highly obliged.
