Hi I wonder if anybody can help me,
I am trying to export an ,xer file to another user my trouble is i dont want them to have acccess to all of the schedule just their portion, in the old p3 you could export with a filter unfortunatley on p6 this facility is no longer there does anyone know how i can do this, i have a complete wbs structure in place also, again i can't seem to select just their WBS.

Did you try the XML-export? It provides similar results to P3-export.
But they should be forbidden to schedule (F9).

Thanks for your prompt reply unfortunatley i still need to have the schedule logic available for them to see from the other packages so deleting all other activities will not work.
many ways to skin this cat
hopefully they have a separate code like responsibility.
one way is to copy the project then run a filter and filter out all the activities that are NOT their responsibility and then delete these activites.
now you are left with only thier activities now filter all then export
