If you after for the data to have only in one file. Then, after exporting you can simply select all P3 data, right click and select "Add to archive/zip".

I am assuming that you do not have P3 installed in your computer to restore the P3 backup file before exporting it to P6.
Converting a .prx file to P6 is just like a self-extracting zip file. Change the file extension from .prx to .exe and then execute the program. Save the files on a separate folder.
When done, open your Project Management Module, go to File --> Import --> Primavera Project Planner - (P3), and follow the window wizard.

U cant do that.
U can export that as p3 files (File --> Export) and then use winzip or winrar to compress it further.

Hi Salar,
This feature is not supported even in P6 v7.
If you after for the data to have only in one file. Then, after exporting you can simply select all P3 data, right click and select "Add to archive/zip".

Chaps,
Can someone tell me how to return it back from P6 to PRX directly, without having P3 installed in my PC?

Change the extension to .exe and double click it. It will unzip.
Go to File --> Import and wizard is self-explanatory then.
