Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Can a Activity has more than one predecessors?

Hi Gentlemen,

 

I need to ask that can an activity have more than one predecessors?????if yes then what should we keep in mind by assigning those?????

Yes of course it can. It should have precisely as many predecessors as there are activities which must be complete before it can begin (assuming FS links)

 

For example installing a pump would typically have as predecessors:

-Concrete base / plinth

-Pump delivered

-Mobilisation of mech installers

 

If any one of these is not done, you can't install the pump.
