i need to reduce the float bars, because when I show the free float bar, it appears always, until the free float is zero.

Do someone have an idea for this?

Hi Mike,

what you said about Primavera is even worse with P6V7, as there is no license file at all; therefore you will be able to install the software as many times as you want without any possible lock or control from Primavera Corp.

PowerProject's protection system is a little bit too much in my opinion; they make very difficult to transfer the license from one PC to the other; it looks like they do not trust their customers at all

You are quite coreect that the license to use Primavera goes with the software purchase and cannot be transferred.

Primavera however does not help themselves because you can borrow a disc that has been copied any number of times and provided you have the key you can just install it and use it under a different name.

No need to buy this off ebay - just find a freind.

(Not that I have ever done this of course)

True you can't get the support but from what I have heard that is not worth much any way.

Serious software such as PowerProject has strict licensing rules using complex key transfers - but it works well.

Another scam is MS Project where you can buy the software on ebay at the fraction of the price provided you can demonstrate that you are an edjucation establishment - this is proven by ticking the YES box. Ho Hum.

as software is not a usual product like a book or a washing machine, but only the right to use it, it is generaly forbidden to resell a software license

by purchasing a Primavera license (or any other app) from Ebay, you will certainly get a cheaper price that you could get from the editor, but you will not be eligible for maintainance, and you could be sued for software copyright imbreachment
