If I select the original resource in the Assign Dislogue the Replace button becomes active; unfortunately, I'd like to replace the resource with another resource.
This is in a SQLLite stand-alone database, are user rights the issue?

John, several things to check (I cannot see the image you posted)
Might sound obvious, but worth checking, you aren't clicking on a different resource? you need ot have the original resource selected for the replace button to be visible
Security profiles - is there a database administrator you can contact? It's possibly becuase you are working in a database or a project within that DB where you do not have the "Edit Resource" privilege. Has it at all changed recently?
