Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Comment on Forensic Schedule Analysis Recommended Practice

No replies

Dear Members,

We have been asked by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) to see if you are interested in providing possible revisions to the AACE International Recommended Practice Forensic Schedule Analysis Practice Guide.

The AACEi CDR (Claims and Dispute Resolution) Committee have completed their draft for the fourth revision of the practice guide (including changing the name).  This document is the first US publication that addresses forensic analysis, and is having some very strong impacts in the States, including showing up in litigation as a bit of a weapon.

US Experts are well served by understanding this document if they plan to testify.  They have already seen it over the last two years appear in depositions and litigation cross-examination.

Please find attached to this post, the November 2010 Draft for Public Comment on Recommended Practice.  This is your last opportunity to offer comments prior to publication on what will become Revision 2 of the RP.

All comments must be submitted by 7-Dec-10 and must have page and line references.  After incorporation of these comments by the editors, the draft will be reviewed by the AACE Technical Committee with the objective of an early 2011 publication.

We invite all recipients of this email, and any other interested individuals or groups, to provide written comments by sending an email to BOTH khoshino@pcfconsultants.com and john.livengood@arcadis-us.com.  If you are a member of the AACE International, you can participate in the AACE International’s on-line forum for the CDR Committee. We look forward to receiving your comments.
