I joined DGA (UK) Ltd in 2007 and have been working as a Programming Consultant, I am currently working closely with the Senior Management Team of BK Gulf LLC on various projects in the UAE – I have been tasked with improving the standard of planning in the company. The role includes the introduction of bespoke project control tools and the training the company planners in scheduling techniques. The role also involves running forensic delay analyses on problem projects.

Recently I wrote a process document along with comprehensive guidance notes for the control of planning and scheduling for Kentz Engineers and a brief involvement with ETA on their works on the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During the past three years David has partnered with Gleeds Management Services, under their banner, on; 

  • Brick Production Facility, Nikolskoye, Russia – Assisting the expert in the formulation of a design, procurement and project management report for a forthcoming arbitration hearing in Stockholm.
  • Al Uqlah Oilfield Block S2, Yemen - Central Processing Facility. Prepared a forensic delay analysis to support an extension of time due to changes in site conditions and a major change to the process train.
  • Nuclear Power Station, European Location - Assisting the expert in the preparation of a report on the Supplier’s compliance with contractual obligations and international standards with regards the project schedule in contemplation of arbitration.
  • Saudi Kayan Ethylene Plant, Jubail, Saudi Arabia - Prepared a forensic delay analysis to support an extension of time and acceleration claim due to late engineering and materials. Followed by an analysis of the delays encountered during the acceleration to support a further claim for delay and disruption.
  • Jubail Acetyls Complex, Saudi Arabia – Prepared a forensic delay analysis to support an extension of time due to late engineering and materials which developed into the preparation of a new detailed completion schedule.

Assisted AYH with cost advice on the M&E elements of an extension to a schools project.

Commission by Metronet to take commercial control of some of their M and E packages.

Led the cost planning team during the conclusion of the Cooling The Tube Programme Elephant & Castle Mid Tunnel Vent System RIBA Stage D Design for Halcrow.
