2017 – 2018      Lead PMO Planning and Controls specialist on the €100m National Telemetry Programme at Irish Water. Role was to design and implement improved PMO Processes and Tools for planning and reporting (using MS Project 2013 and Power BI), Document Control (SharePoint), RAID Management, Change Control and Cost Management. Circa 3,000 Activities planned to deliver a range of IT and OT Projects over a 5-year period.

2016 – 2017         Oracle Primavera EPPM, PCM and P6 Professional release v8.3 used as the project controls solution for a €3bn capital expenditure programme at Irish Water. Initial involvement was orchestrating the pilot study to review and identify key planning data issues and define recommendations for project control process and system improvements.

Lead Planner overseeing the design and implementation of the improvements to produce an accurate suite of strategic and tactical reports for Asset Delivery. These improvements involved establishing routine schedule update cycles for 150+ Project Managers, data cleansing of P6 planning and Oracle EBS cost data across 1,000s of P6 Projects and co-ordination of Programme and Portfolio Review Meetings with Senior Management.

2014 – 2015            Planning and scheduling pre-construction and installation activities for the roll-out of 1 million water meters at Irish Water. Primavera P6 R8.2 populated with over 20,000 Activities and 100,000 Resource Assignments to plan the roll-out programme. Forecast output targets agreed with Regional Contractors and baselines established in P6. Actual installation data imported into P6 through manual EXCEL / ACCESS interface with IBM MAXIMO Asset Management tool. Resources in P6 loaded with cost rates to enable accurate cost forecasting and financial contingency planning.
