Lean Design Event 

Dear Group Members,

We had a great session yesterday with Alan Mossman from the Lean Construction Institute and The Change Business. Alan delivered a very awe inspiring and encompassing presentation on Lean Design.

Alan went through what is happening in the US in terms of Lean Design and how to get the most out of projects from design stage up to Construction stage. His presentation delivered what the UK government is after in delivering its BIM strategy over the next 5 years. 

Nick Nisbet from AEC 3 also attended. ( Nick is the technical director for the Building SMART alliance and UK government adviser)

The event was attended by represenatives from companies such as Mansell, Ferrovial Agroman, AEC3 and was sponsored by Elevations-BIM Project Management.
