Sequence of operations...
  •  Expose base slab aggregate, clean, wet slab, apply bonding agent, lay screed topping (50 mm) compact and cure screed.  Once cured, setout lines and levels and lay and tamp stones onto setting bed.  Protect area until cured and maintain protection to prevent traffic damage etc.
  •  Each area should then be grouted after the installation of the paving.  Typical floor block panel size 0.5 m2/stone.

Stone staircase tread/risers 8.40 m2/day

 

.    A paving team consists of 1 fixer and 0.5 mate's (1 mate per 2 fixers).
