Show Hammock allocation in a column at task level?

Hello,

I have a project on Asta that uses hammock tasks to summarise packages of work. I've been searching for a way to add a column that shows what hammock a task is assigned to; does anybody know if this is possible?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Importing XML file into Asta

Hi,

i tried to import a  XML file to Asta, for some reason Asta Split  whatever task longer than 4 days into  several new tasks and roll it up under one task. Is there any way that i can stop this, is there any option in Asta that limits the maximum duration of one Activity?

Good morning All,

I am trying to establish a KPI graph based on weekly activity count of the programme to display the progress of the project.

All I can do is resource the project and and create a histogram based on all resources and export the data to excel.

But I am sure there is another way (way easier and less time consuming) to reach weekly activity counts data and export to excel. I appreciate any  feed back may help.

Duration automatically changing from 1d to 6000w

Hi, trying to do a college assignment and mid way through programme, when I enter 1d for a duration it jumps to 6000w. Has anybody had a similar issue or know what setting will rectify this. Thanks

Baseline Vs Actual Progress in Line of Balance

Could we show both baseline and Actual Progress in the same Line of Balance, so that we could compare whether the progress is ahead or delay in Line of Balance?

ASTA File locked when trying to save

Hi everyone,

When trying to save an ASTA file, on the bottom right corner it says something along the lines of "Warning: file could not be saved due to being locked"

Anyone have any ideas on how to unlock it? so the changes on the programme can be saved.

Could I just print the line of balance graph instead of print the Gannt Chart together with the line of balance?
