Any Asta expert can tell me the tips that how to hide the specific activities in Asta? I used these options to hide the specific activities.
Hide and show the toolbar and Mark for hiding
but no result.
Any idea?

Help on drawing bars

Please can someone help?

I am having trouble trying to draw bars the length I want them. I have a worksheet set up with the following in the date zone area Month, Day (1-31) and Time (Hours mins).

I am trying to make a bar go from 11:00 - 13:30 but will only let me do it either 11:00-13:00 or 11:00-14:00, it wont let me do it half way.

How do i draw a bar with half hours on them please?

No, not the 70’s Glam Rock quartet, but the new project Wizard on PP !

When I try to start a new project with the wizard, or indeed in any way, I select the template fill in the boxes for File location, Name, for, Start, By, User name etc, and click OK, but nothing happens.

I am forced to open existing project and alter them to create a new project.

What am I doing wrong?

Opening and closing a summary heading

Hi all,

Is there an easier way of opening and closing a single summary heading than double clicking the summary bar on the Gantt chart? The "Show to x Levels" is also available but that applies to all summary headings and not a single one (or a few).

It would be logic that the "+" and "-" in the column just left of the "Line"-column opened and closed a summary like most other planning systems, but it don’t - or maybe I just have some wrong settings?

Any tricks / short cuts for this available out there?

Sorting Code libraries

I’ve noticed the code libraries include a sort order field. I exported my P3 schedule to Power Project in order to learn PP. The contract view all stakeholders are used to, displays milestones at the top, under a "milestones" heading, then some excavation works then heavy civils and construction roads at the bottom, each under its own heading. I tried to sort them in the same way they were sorted in P3, but PP seems to sort them alphabetically. How can I override the alphabetical order of the code libraries to sort the sub headings in the way they were signed in the contract?

I’ll be donig a baseline review in a week or so using APP. I’ve used the free Asta Project Viewer before, but not the full package.
As I won’t have much time to play with the software before I sue it in anger, any tips / key differences vs Primavera / things to look out for / etc from the experienced users on this esteemed forum would be most welcome.
