Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi all,

Is there an easier way of opening and closing a single summary heading than double clicking the summary bar on the Gantt chart? The "Show to x Levels" is also available but that applies to all summary headings and not a single one (or a few).

It would be logic that the "+" and "-" in the column just left of the "Line"-column opened and closed a summary like most other planning systems, but it don’t - or maybe I just have some wrong settings?

Any tricks / short cuts for this available out there?

Best regards,

Bo

Hi Bo

The double click is the quickest way to open/close a summary bar.

The + - column is when you are using "task per Line" mode with more that 1 activity on the same line.

This is very useful if you are doing repetetive tasks in different locations - Housing estates or High rise fit outs.

There are problems with Task per Line mode including

1. Cannot copy paste to the columns
2. Loss of criticality
