Having looked into the area of Risk Analysis, the Construction Industry and Expertise; this site keeps cropping up as an authorititive leading voice.

I am currently studying an MSc in Construction project management and trying to research a survey on project risk analysis software with a view to presenting their functionalities in a table form.

I’m working on a project with a critical sectional completion date of 31/3/14
On the critical path is release of a key area by another project
This other project is approx 18 month’s work, but it’s start is being delayed by client due to financial approval
Plugging in the delayed start of this other project gives us approx 12 weeks float on our sectional completion. This represents approx 5% of the total time from now to 31/3/14

Fix complete % in Pertmaster same as P5

In P5 the complete % is setted to physical method. When import one to Pertmaster, all activities are changed the complete % method to calculate base on remaining duration. It is make me to confuse. Anyone have fucntion to set the complete % same as P5,please advise me.

Recommended Risk Analysis Reading

Could anyone recommend any good reading for a beginner in Risk Analysis? I know very little on the subject and am despirate to know more about it,, my current employer runs P6 with no Pertmaster software, however I understand the importance and relevant on how this skill-set is a hugely valuable tool in the ’Planners’ Locker.

Review the driving activities in distribution histogram

Dear alls,

I have used the pertmaster to risk analysis and gotten the distribution histogram. That one is shown min., max and mean forecast finish date. If I want to see the driving activities to those finish date, how is review them?

Please advise me.

I must present the risk analysis program to owner in end of this month. Anyone has a sample, give me please.

Prohibit for logic in Pertmaster

Dear alls,

I use logic FS(-50) in Pertmaster, when export one to P5. That logic is changed to FS.

This is a prohibit of pertmaster?? Please advise me for other prohibits.
