Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Planners,

There is one headache problem in P6.0.

When there are some actual activities and I rebaseline the project, the rebaseline bars of those actual activities just shows their "Planned Dates", but not "Current Dates", in another word, the rebaseline bar is shorter then current bar even I’ve not done any updates.

This is not good to compare the progress.

In P3.1 there is no this problem.

Can anyone help on this? Appreciate!

Lei,

Sorry for the blank post. Because, my internet connection is having the problem!!!

Try to go to Admin --> Admin Preferences, under the Earned Value tab, Earned value calculation: The Default is "Budgeted values with planned dates" try to change to "Budgeted values with current dates" and then close.

Regards.

Thanks for comments, Arnold.

Yes, it is baseline bar. The problem is that this baseline bar just links to its "Planned Date", but not the "current date" of its rebaseline date.

Hi Lei,

Make sure that the bar you displayed is the baseline bar.
