GPC Qatar

257
Welcome to Qatar’s Guild Interest Group for the International Guild of Project Controls (GPC).

First let me introduce myself, I am Pierre Snyman a member of Planning Planet and am based here in Qatar. I am arranging events to enable those involved in project control to meet, share knowledge, learn, laugh (and moan J)

The plan is to network, discuss, meet and debate issues relating to planning, scheduling and project controls with a Qatar bias. We are meeting at various venues around the region (and I am always on the lookout for those who can provide us space!). To date we have covered topics such as introduction to BIM, discussed the formation of the GPC and qualifications for Project control staff and have future presentations planned on, Risk, Value Management and Document Control. I would very much like to hear from project control staff in Qatar who would either like to speak or have a request for subjects, suggestions for speakers etc.

Events normally last for a couple of hours and take place in the evenings – but each event is unique.

Please come along to support your Guild, meet your peers and promote your profession.

If you are interested, please join this Community Qatar group to register your interest and contact admin@guildofprojectcontrols.com  and we will forward your information to Pierre.
