Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I am trying to prepare a course materials on Project Planning in Construction. This course materials should cover the basis of planning ,scheduling , monitoring , resource & cost loading..This course materials will be prepared for beginners / intermediate level in planning....

Can anybody suggest good articles / books for the above subject.....

I would recommend the following:

Construction Planning and Scheduling, 2e, Thomas E. Glavinich, This is published by the Associated General Contractor of America.

Project Managmenet, A systems Approach to planning, scheduling and controlling, Harold Kerzner, 10e, published by Wiley.

This is a good excercise. Let’s see what you prepare.
