Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear Gents,

We used to send primavera update to our planning manager on weekly basis. Is there any provision in primavera to spot the difference in progress for the only activities from the previous week.

Your help in this concern is unfathomable!

+1 for using baselines.

We would use an original baseline to display the Rev0 then use a second bassline as a copy of the previous weeks issue.

A trick we use is to save each weekly issue as a baseline (witht the issue date) but dont have it displayed.

So in essence we have 3 "live" basleine with each issue.

1: Original Rev 0

2: Last weeks basline

3: Copy of issue (not displayed)

Each week we issue the shcedule we would simply change the copy of last weeks baseline.

Amjad,

Set the last week project as the baseline for this week update. Create the filter to show the baseline dates for the previous week. compare it against the present update.

I hope this will help
