This was an NR8 contract with an initial value of £36m. The contracts included upgrades and improvements to the surface water handling systems across the whole of the airport site, and beyond, including some sensitive environmental areas. Another contract was to replace and upgrade the cladding on two bridges which span over Gatwick Rail Station and the last contract was to improve external airside access.
