Senior Planner for Carillion Civil Engineering on rail infrastructure works supporting the Carillion Rail division in delivering their element of the Crossrail West project for Transport for London. This was an NR8 contract with an initial value of £36m. The role was to support the less experienced existing planning team in providing a more detailed progress analysis through earned value management and project control technics. As with many other Carillion projects it was also necessary to set up the last planner and collaborative planning activities and ensure it was adhered to so that the data collected was of use to the management team, both internally and externally.
