Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

a Very simple question

how Spider make reference to the baseline activities, does it use the activity code ( activity ID) ? or the internal identifier ( i hope it is not the identifier) ?

Spider uses activity amd phase codes (IDs).

You may compare not only with the baseline but with any other version.

Spider Project keeps project archives and you can compare simultaneosly with the baseline and some other version. For example analyze current project status comparing with the status one month ago and with the baseline.

You can also play what if and create any number of project scenarios comparing them with each other.

You can see the difference in the Gantt Chart and show difference in the table columns for any field.

And you can restore and analyze trends of any parameter for any project object. In this case Spider looks at the project history and identifies the objects by their codes.
