Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Why would the budgeted hours be different to the remaining early units in the resource profile for activities on or just after the data date line? but be the same in activities 3 days out and all future days?

Welcome to PP.

P3e is a different name for P6 and P5.

To your question:
I assume duration type is fixed duration & units.
For your ongiong activities the reported actual units were less than expected. So within the remaining duration you’ll have to do more work. Due to fixed duration, this has no influence on the remaining duration. All planned activities keep their position.
Result: Remaining units for the days which follow the data date (i.e. for the ongoing activities) are more than the planned units. Later they are equal again.
