Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

Hi all

In P6 schedule an activity having 5 activity as a predecessor one of in all ready in progress and one is Constraints which is fouandation ready for Instal...

predecessor Constraints activity starting
date is 29 Jun 09* ( Activity DC00100)

successor of above actvity is Installation of equipment.
(activity EQ001010)

which will be start on 29 jun-09

I have links ss with Activity DC00100 with 0 lag as (predec)after schedule f9

i am wondering activity EQ001010 start date is 20 april 09

can any one advise why it is so...

i am not clear on ur statement but .....you should check if the activity has constraints ,otherwise if you want your desired date then play with lags + or -.

Hello,

Some information are missing before giving you a answer :
- Which kind of relationship do you have for the other 4 predecessors ?
- Is it logical to get 5 predecessors if one is SS ? Maybe links are not correct ?
