Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Transfering projects from one machine to another.

hi
all
if we have stand alone installations of p5 on two different machines, and we are transfering the projects from one to another.

what should be the process, coz when i try to import it updates the whole project and the projects takes whatever data date in in old and starts new project from there.
can anyone explain how to use check in and check out facilitis in p5.

Mangesh,

The check out function basically just locks a project for modifications, avoiding errors resulting from the same data being altered at two different locations.

If you check in the project again, one of the options is to reschedule after import. That could explain your ’issue’.
