Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Open both projects, the one you want to copy from and the one you want to paste to.
Organize bij WBS, select the activities, copy, and past within the WBS of the new project.
You can also paste in the same project, now you have the activities double, and change the WBS of the copied activities

Because P3e is full multiproject you’ve to difine the wbs for each activity. When you dont use WBS it puts all activities in the same project (what’s a part of the WBS)

I would suggest exporting the project( or activities ) you want and then importing it/them in the project you want it/them to be.

Dear all;

This forum is for P3e users. We have another forum for P3 users.

Using this one to discuss about P3 cause confusion.

Best regards.

As Alex posted, there are no Fragnets in Primavera V5.

Surely copy and paste is the easiest option? Primavera V5 gives you options when you do that.

It is P3e not P3 therefore there is no such thing as fragnet.

Thats right becasue the software need to know which Node (EPS) you want to paste the activity that why you either group by "EPS/WBS" or Just "WBS"

Alex,

I have projects structured by activity codes not by WBS. When I open two projects and try to paste, it could not be done.

However, by default, WBS Level 1 is project itself. I grouped two projects by WBS for Level 1 and then tried. It worked out!

If you copy the activities in one project first, open both and organise it by EPS/WBS. Then you can select them and drop it into the project you wand to paste. Make sure you have rights to both projects.
