Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have been trying to change the ’planning units’ in Primavera 3.1 from weeks to days. However whenever I try to change or copy from another project via the menus: tools, project utilities, copy, I consistently get a message "invalid project name", eventhough all names and characters match.

If anyone has a solution to changing the planning units from weeks to Days. I would be very interested to know.

Hi Kannan,

Put the project name into the "Project Group" Box and select copy. Make sure that the Project Name is unique.
