Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi to all experts,

I am using Primavera P6 R8.2

Here i am working with the schedule with 4,000 activities & almost 2,200 activities i have loaded Cost though Expenses.

The Problem i am facing that for example : one activity having 50% of  Activity % Completed so far, but when i am looking @ the Expenses Tab & its not showing me any actual cost for the same activity. Even i have tried to Import & Export throuhg excel in order to reflect the Activity% complete into Expenses % compete but due to (*) sign the values in exel sheet cant be modified.

Please anyone can help me in this regard.........i will be highly obliged

no the global change suggestion will not work you can not cross % complete between activites and expenses even is you create a UDF

I have supplied the solution here

Hi Irfan,

Try to use global change (Expense % = Activity %)
