Network Rail is in the process of replacing their current RETB radio system for the Far North and West Highland Lines in Scotland. After a life extension of infrastructure systems, the Next Generation RETB project is planning to Design, Manufacture, Test, Commission the replacement of the radio system element (NRN) as the frequencies used are due to be returned to OFCOM at the end of 2015.

I had to manage the planning teams & Integrate, report on the Civil’s, OLE, Signalling, P-Way, and Design /Build programmes for the Nuneaton & Rugby Stations and 50 Miles of track re-modernisation works along the West Coast.
