Planning & Reporting Manager, Bechtel, Rugby & Nuneaton West Coast Route Modernisation Projects

This involved leading the planning team that reported the various project packages that made up the whole contract delivery package. I had to manage the planning teams & Integrate, report on the Civil’s, OLE, Signalling, P-Way, and Design /Build programmes for the Nuneaton & Rugby Stations and 50 Miles of track re-modernisation works along the West Coast.

  • Team leadership for the planning process and project controls group
  • Earned Value / Cost / Quantities & Resource management reporting
  • Subcontractor Programme Integration into our main Project Programme.
  • High level reporting to Senior Project Director, Project Controls Manager & Construction Management Delivery Team
  • KPI & Milestone trackers monitoring
  • Subcontractor programme progress analysis, and interrogation as and when required
  • Weekly meetings with Individual subcontractor and our programme representative planner to address programme progress reviews.
  • Programme Database management for all Coding and parameter assignments.
  • New Tender Programme approvals & discussions.
