  • Sound Transit Central Link Light Rail, Beacon Hill Tunnel, Seattle, WA ($310 million) Served as Scheduler on the construction of a twin bore 21’ diameter, one-mile long light rail tunnel, associated trackwork and two transit stations. Reviewed and approved contractor CPM Schedule baseline and update submittals for completeness, accuracy and contract compliance. Prepared critical construction progress trend and status reports, responded to contractor delay claims, prepared Time Impact Analysis and as-built schedules. Prepared cost estimates for change orders. Established 46 days entitlement to an 11 month delay claim, contributing to a $29m settlement to a $91m overall claim.
  • Inchon International Airport, Korea (US$1 billion) As Scheduler on the new 4.5 million SF terminal. Developed and maintained the master schedule. Prepared monthly schedule progress reviews of contractor schedules. Prepared critical construction progress trend and status reports.
  • South Park Bridge ($96m) and Elwah Dam Removal ($27m). As a Scheduler, reviewed and approved initial contractor CPM Schedule baseline and update submittals for completeness, accuracy and contract compliance.
  • Spokane Street Viaduct Widening, Seattle, WA: ($67 million) Served as Estimator on the rehabilitation and widening of one mile of elevated highway work. Prepared all contractor force account work submittals for labor, equipment, material, subcontract costs, including markups. Provided associated accounting, reporting, and document control. Prepared project meeting minutes, progress reports and progress payments. Approved contractor labor and equipment rates. Coordinated force account submittal needs with inspectors, contractors and SDOT staff. Resolved cost/payment issues.
  • Port of Seattle, Consolidated Rental Car Facility, Seattle, WA: ($225 million) Served as Resident Engineer (Consultant) on the construction of this new facility. Reviewed contractor change requests for contractual merit, determined entitlement and negotiated final costs. Prepared independent cost estimates for change requests and compared to contractor proposals to establish scope and cost accuracy. Wrote contract change orders and contract reconciliations. Managed cost trends and change order documentation.
  • Regional Wastewater System Program, King County, WA ($1.6 billion) Scheduler for the program management of a new 36-mgd wastewater treatment facility and associated pump station, conveyance and outfall projects. Developed and maintained a cost and resource loaded baseline master program schedule. Developed detailed plant, conveyance and pump station schedules.
  • Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Wastewater Treatment Plant and Pump Station, WA ($7.8 million) Scheduler for the SeaTac Airport 7.1mgd wastewater plant upgrade and new pump station. Prepared the monthly project cost and resource loaded contractual schedule submittal, including cost and cash flow reports. Prepared schedule updates, short term schedules, and change order time impact analysis. Implemented the web-based, “LiveLink” Construction Document Control System for submittals, RFIs and daily reports.
  • Snohomish County, SR530 Landslide Debris Clearing Project, Oso, WA: ($6 million ) Served as Project Manager for the monitoring of contractor work to restore to a natural state a residential area destroyed by a landslide. Managed field staff monitoring contractor debris screening and processing, sitework, grading, drainage, road, and culvert reconstruction. Prepared the project execution plan, safety plan and progress reports.
  • FEMA Project Work: NY, FL, AL ($443 million) Served as Project Specialist / Estimator. Inspected infrastructure damage to roads, bridges, schools, hospitals and facilities caused by disasters. Wrote complete scopes of work and cost narratives for project work. Prepared project cost estimates using the Cost Estimate Format (CEF) and RSMeans Online. Wrote clear, concise reports for management. Prepared Hazard Mitigation Proposals to help avoid repetitive damage. At times served as PAC Crew Leader for all state agencies supervising up to 10 Specialists. Proficient with NEMIS.
