Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Running SQL 2005 database and Primavera P6 on Laptop with Windows 7

Hi,

I have both SQL and the P6 installed on one computer.  But it seems that the database gets corrupted and it is not letting me to log in to the application or the database.  Does anyone have any idea of having these two installed on one laptop will cause any problem?  This is the error i get.

 Exception EAccessViolation in module PM.exe at 0043bfbf.

Access violation at address 0083bfbf in module pm.exe

Have you tried refreshing your database inside the MS SQL server?

1) Log in to your MS SQL server.

2) Right click on the database and refresh.

3) Try to log in again using your Primavera
