Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Praveen;

For me the major difference is that SQL allows you to have several databases, Oracle only one.

For a consultant with several clients this could be important.  It helps isolate client calendars and activity codes to keep things as simple as possible.  SQL gets limited support from Oracle, but that does not seem to be a major problem right now.  If your data is subject to discovery, multiple databases may ensure that only the required data is surrendered - not very likely, but a consideration.

No experience with Oracle databases, but both generate .xer files that can be read by any other P6 user.
