Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

open you current project (monthly update) and baseline project at the same time. Then export them into XER format, a XER will be created with two projects inside

Hi Arun,

If you export the .XER file along with the baseline, only the current open project will be exported. The baseline will stay in your project.

You can do one thing, keep a copy of a baseline in your folder, then what you need only is to export the monthly updated programme.

It means you need to send them individually.

Regards,

Arnold

Hi Arun,

You mean back up a project. If yes, then go to File Menu --> Export --> Primavera PM/MM - (XER).

If database, then it is a long story... Anyway, I highly recommend to read the Primavera Manual.
