Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Do you have to open each project to backup files? Is there a way to highlight all projects (20) and send to external hard drive without opening them? I’m getting ready to get new hard drive and want to backup the project and reload after new hard drive is installed. Any suggestions?

James,
Just pick the main EPS and export to xer if all are sitting in one main EPS otherwise you need to highlight all main EPS and export to xer.

Alternatively you can manage and backup the whole database using SQL Server Management Studio Express if installed on your PC. (Included on Primavera installation CD)

Backup the MM and PM databases in this way you will not lose Enterprise Data.
