Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

• During May:
1- available units (Resource limit per month) = 42hrs per day X 30d = 1260hrs
2- actual units = 500hrs
3- remaining units = 600
4- Required/downtime units = 1 - (2 + 3) = 1260 - (500 + 600) = -160hrs

• During June:
1- available units (Resource limit per month) = 42hrs per day X 30d = 1260hrs
2- actual units = 0hrs
3- remaining units = 1000hrs
4- Required/downtime units = 1 - (2 + 3) = 1260 - 1000 = 260hrs

• During July:
1- available units (Resource limit per month) = 42hrs per day X 30d = 1260hrs
2- actual units = 0hrs
3- remaining units = 0hrs
4- Required/downtime units = 1 - (2 + 3) = 1260 - 0 = 1260hrs

Regarding that I tried to spreadsheet fields’ customized options but I think I chose a wrong options so If any one have any idea via resource usage spreadsheet or any other report/way please feed me back with steps.

Dear All,

At P6, Kindly note that if I have a resource code R#1 limit is 42hrs per day this resource was assigned for many activities starting in Mar. and finished in Aug.

And I updated schedule in May 10, 2009

So I need a resource usage spreadsheet showing the following data:
• During May:
1- available units (Resource limit per month) = 42hrs per day X 30d = 1260hrs
2- actual units = 500hrs
3- remaining units = 600
4- Required/downtime units = 1 - (2 + 3) = 1260 - (500 + 600) = -160hrs
