Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

DEar Guys,
Can any one help me in documenting the changes made by the Contractor from the agreed milestones.

How one should monitor or ask for changes made by the contractor from the previous agreed program / baseline.

One way we are using is my adding a comment in the notebook column tab.
and then printing a report for notebook items for the project.

Regards

SHIV

Claim digger is a good tool, but the reports generated are detailed and hard to read (in my opinion) if you have a big number of activities.
my idea, is to maintain and assign the contractors version to your version and create a layout showing variances...you can then filter all the values <> 0
this is primitive but effective to me

Hi

For me, the correct way is always receive a report with the changes made.

In other way, if you receive the updated time schedule in XER format, you can import it and after use the Claim Digger (Primavera\Tools\Claim Digger) to compare.

Other way is showing the baseline and the actual activity in the Gant Chart. There, visually, you can check deviations.
