Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear all,

A frined of mine has this doubt:

Can Duration%Complete (for Activity progress) be different of Units%Complete (for Resource progress on activity)??

In my opinion, it can be different. Activity progress can be proportionally different of Resource progress. By the way, it normally happens.

Any different opinion??

Regards,

Marcio Eduardo.

It certainly is possible (and often necessary) to have Duration % and Units % working independently. In project view, select the Calculations tab and make sure the box titled "Recalculate Actual Units and Cost when duration % complete changes" is NOT ticked.

You will still need to define a suitable default % complete type for your activities (either duration, units or physical) but you can display the columns for each of these % types in the activity view.
