Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi all

I'm liking the Oracle support who got me up and running with my old P3.1 software on my new laptop with no fuss whatsoever..

Is anyone able to explain how I can migrate my old files across please ? I've had a look at the files themselves and they seem to be fragmented into all sorts of different sub-files and so on. Is it as easy as copying a directory across ?

Terry,

It is a simple matter to move P3 schedules; just copy everything in the P3WIN\PROJECTS\ folder to the new PROJECTS folder.  A P3 schedule consists of 11- 21 different files, all starting with the same 4-character project name.  It does not matter which folder they are located in as long as all of the files remain together.  Good luck!
