Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Open P6.TO convert a particular project the same should be open.
Select File-Export
Selct P3 in export window-next-select same project
Give name and location to the export project-next....
Than follw the dialog box...

You can use export function to convert P6 project to P3. It is very easy.

Use the P6 export function to convert it from P6 to P3 format.

If the file is in XER format you might have a problem, but then of course you could always open it with Asta Powerproject and save in P3 format, or import it into a Primavera database and export.
