Hello Everybody,

Hope everybody doing well in your respective fields.

Here I have a small clarification, For preparing a pretendering schedules upto what level i can prepare a schedule and what are all i can incorporate?

Cash Flows, Is there any thumbrule for making cashflows for tendering stage submissions?, I mean Cash FLows to be shown based on the Client's Payment release or Monthly Work Done?

If it is based on Client's Payment release, the Cash flows will go more duration than the project duration & if it is based on Monthly Work Done, where can i incorporate the Mobilization Advance?

Can any body help me in this regard?

Thanks,

Ashik

Hi Ashik

A cash flow compares income with expenditure and is best set up on a spreadsheet.

If you want to use the programme however then you have to load the two costs onto each task and then set up a series of progess reports for the required Data dates and assume that you have 100% progress for each task.

Modilisation would be one cost Milestone in the programme.

The two cumulative sums can then be shown on an S Curve.

This would be the basis of future EVA and progress S-Curves.

Resource hours however is a better measure of progress than costs.

Best regards
