Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Mohd Anjum

I believe as a book with detailed workout might not be available ,my suggestion is to request the experienced senior who has hands on experience in estimating resources required for the project activities based on productivity rates or practical experience

Anjum,

Productivity depends on the type of resource being used ( Labour / Mechanised). Also on the region of work. The best is the experience that needs to be exctracted from the white haired people who have spent time at site. But still you can visit PPs Rates, where people have tried to put some info for people like us, it might be of some help to you.
