Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear Readers,

Can anyone tell me how to filter a P6 plan to show any activities that have a variance between a baseline start or finish ?

if you have established the baseline already, then just go to filter and...

under parameters: Variance - BL1 Finish Date (choose from the pulldown items)

Is: is less than
Value: 0

so any activities with negative variance will be shown in your gantt chart.

pls tell me if this is not what you are looking for, maybe i read it wrong:)

Set up a filter to pick up any of the following

Variance-BL Project Start Date - Greater than 0 days
Variance-BL Project Start Date - Less than 0 days
Variance-BL Project Finish Date - Greater than 0 days
Variance-BL Project Finish Date - Less than 0 days
