Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear all

1. How to best calculate productivity rate of a construction activity?

2. Why there is no productivity rate column in P3 or MSP?

Productivity rate = [Work quantity/{activity duration * resource usage}]
Productivity may be measured as the quantity of work per one hour, or as quantity of work hourd per one unit of work quantity.

Can any one tell the specific formula for calculating productivity.
Frans,
if you want to use productivities in schedule development try Spider Project (Demo can be downloaded from http://www.spiderproject.ru/spider_e.php).
In this package you can assign productivities manually or create Productivity database and use it in all projects of the organization.
I don’t know why work quantities and resource productivities are not supported by other software packages.

Vladimir
